M27 Dumbel Nebula

M27 is known as the dumbbell nebula due to its shape as seen in small telescopes. The Dumbbell Nebula (M27), is a large, bright planetary nebula which was discovered by the French astronomer Charles Messier in 1764 It is located in the constellation of Vulpecula the fox.
